Abstract
An unrehearsed interview with Alfred Bailey for the Morehead State University Vintage Fiddlers Oral History Project. The interview was conducted by Marynell Young at Alfred Bailey's home, 435 Fountain Avenue, Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Tunes played include Liberty, Durang's Hornpipe, Lancing Quadrille, Durham Bull, Red Apple Rag (in D), Fiddler's Dream, Ragged Ann, Stone Wall Jackson, Bonaparte's Retreat, Up Jump the Devil, Alabama Jubilee, Don't Let Your Deal Go Down, Cincinnati Rag, Twinkle Little Star (Old version), Twinkle Little Star (New version), Sally Johnson, Angus Campbell, and Down Yonder.
