Abstract
An unrehearsed interview with Alfred Bailey for the Morehead State University Vintage Fiddlers Oral History Project. The interview was conducted by Marynell Young at Alfred Bailey's home, 435 Fountain Avenue, Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Tunes played include Rockin' Bow, Sweet Bunch of Daisies, Just Because, Drunken Hiccups, Turkey Buzzard, Sugar Tree Stomp, Pluck the Devil's Eye, Bill Bailey Won't You Please Come Home, Monroe Hornpipe, Fisher's Horpipe, Old Liza James (sic), Little Liza James (sic), I'll be all Smiles Tonight, Dusty Miller, Cumberland Gap, Big Sandy, Sourwood Mountain, Wildwood Flower, Little Joe, Bully of the Town, and Mississippi Sawyer.
