Abstract
An unrehearsed interview with Alfred Bailey for the Morehead State University Vintage Fiddlers Oral History Project. The interview was conducted by Marynell Young at Alfred Bailey's home, 435 Fountain Avenue, Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Tunes played include End of Let Me Call You Sweetheart, Wabash Cannonball, Orange Blossom Special, Mocking Bird, Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Skip to my Lou, Thunder Hornpipe, Sailor's Hornpipe, Arkansas Traveller, Turkey in the Straw, Old Joe Clark, Chicken Reel, Cackling Hen, Red Wing, Anna Laura, Pretty Rainbow, Goodnight Waltz, Martin's Waltz, Talk about Rough River, Ida Red, Go to Heaven, Uncle Joe, and Solider's Joy.
