Abstract
The following is an unrehearsed interview with Alfred Bailey for the Morehead State University Vintage Fiddlers Oral History Project. The interview was conducted by Marynell Young at Alfred Bailey's home, 435 Fountain Avenue, Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Tunes played include Mississippi Sawyer (Cont'd), Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss, Soppin' the Gravy, Georgiana Moon, Walking in My Sleep, St. Anne's Reel, Snow Flake Reel, Under Double Eagle, New River Train, Up The River, Whiskey Before Breakfast, Birdie, Chinese Breakdown, Returned Fiddle, Black Mountain Rag, Drunken Hiccups, and Bell Cow.
