Abstract

John Wolfe interviews Brett McGuiness and Martha Hall, Ashland Oil representatives, about coal liquefaction and the creation of new projects in Kentucky, and various solutions to the oil part of the energy crisis through recycling poor quality coal into high quality synthetic oil, recorded on December 4, 1980.

The projects would ultimately fail.
