Abstract

A newsreel which uses two songs, a cover of "A Message to Khomeini" by Roger Hallmark and the Thrasher Brothers, and "The Hostage Prayer" by Pat Boone, to display the effect of the Iran Hostage Crisis on the average American, recording and air dates are unknown, but these cuts are known to have first been used in the spring WMKY lineup, April 1980.
