Abstract
On this episode of Focus on the Region John Wolfe introduced a recorded public hearing held in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky held by the Kentucky Legislature's Burley Tobacco Taskforce. David Boswell, the Agricultural Commissioner of the State of Kentucky, Ben Sharpe, a member of the Tri-County Committee on Burley Tobacco, and Brown Sharp, a grower and warehouseman, spoke of the significance and future of tobacco in the State's economy. The episode aired on December 17, 1984.
