Abstract
On this episode of Focus on the Region John Wolfe interviews Randy Wells, member of the Rowan County Public Library Board, on the history of the county library and the burning of the building's mortgage. Wolfe also interviewed Don Patrick, Director of the Community Education Center, on a new utility tax for the the construction of a new school and Larry Gooding, a member of the Flemingsburg City Council, on the application for Federal funding for a new sewage system for the city. The episode also included an interview with Ruth Ann Morgan, Tuberculosis Program Control Program Coordinator for Rowan County, on skin tests to be given to children in the county by Dave Farmer. The episode aired on August 20, 1983.
