Abstract
Part 1&2 of a re-broadcast of the energy in Appalachia discussion held during the faces of Appalachia conference, hosted by Roger Weaver and Keith Yarber, the discussion panelists are, William Sturgill, coal mine operator and member of the board of trustees for the University of Kentucky, as well as being the Kentucky secretary of Energy, Rex Wesley, a community development specialist, Jerry Ham, regional engineer for the bureau of reclamation, and Doug Filby, an engineer with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, with Bill Carson moderating the discussion, recorded on October 17, 1979, original air date unknown.
