The James Still Postcard & Travel Photograph Collection consists of photographs taken and postcards acquired by Kentucky author James Still during his military service in the United State Army in Africa during Second World War. The images depict Ghana, Eritrea, Egypt and South Africa during the 1930s and 1940s. The collection also contains numerous images of the indigenous peoples of East Africa.
