Description
The Spindletop Farm, Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky was built from 1935-1937. It is the former home of the Pansy Yount, the widow of Miles Frank Yount, of the Yount-Lee Oil Company. In 1959, Spindletop Farm was sold/donated to the University of Kentucky. In 1962, Mrs. Yount passed away and Spindletop Hall became a residence hall for the University of Kentucky's Alumni Club, staff, and its faculty.
