Description

The double dwelling brick house in center (N.E. corner Short and Mill Street) was built in 1803 by John Springle and WM Bobb (WM A Leary "memoirs") for Senator John Pope's and Dr. James Fishback's residences. It became David and Sayre's banking house 30 some years later.
