Newspaper clipping reads as follows:

LOTS In the town of West Liberty; the same being the county seat of Morgan County, situated on Main Licking, near the head of navigation. Sale will commence at 10 o'clock on each day. The terms of sale will be as follows - vis. All sums not exceeding $25, payable the 25th day of December 1824; and wall sums over that amount payable in two equal installments, on 25th of December 1824, and 25th December 1825, by the purchaser giving bond with approved security for the payment. Mechanics of the following trades, viz (a Tanner, Shoemaker, Saddler, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Cabinet Maker, Bricklayer, Wheelright, and Stonemason) who wish to purchase Lots, will receive exclusive indulgence, and the encouragement of the citizens generally.
