Description
Warsaw was originally called Grand Landing(1798). Col. Johnson and Henry Yates purchased 200 acres and named 'Fredericksburg' (1814). It was renamed to Warsaw (1831) to avoid mixing it up with a city in Virginia with the same name. Photo taken circa1850s.
