Description
The second Greenup Courthouse was built about 1835 in Greenup County, Kentucky. The Works Progress Administration (WPA) was part of the American New Deal agency to provide employment in low-income areas, such as the Appalachian area. Most WPA projects were building construction and road work. The WPA ran from 1935-1943.
