Robert M. Rennick Oral History Collection consists of interviews conducted by Robert Rennick with local historians and genealogists in the 1970s related to the origin of community names in Kentucky. The interviews were later referenced in books he authored, such as Kentucky Place Names and From Red Hot to Monkey's Eyebrow: Unusual Kentucky Place Names. Included in the collection are interviews with local historians from Indiana that Dr. Rennick conducted prior to relocating to Kentucky.
