Adron Doran Oral History Collection

Adron Doran served as the seventh president of Morehead State University from 1954 to 1977. Prior to becoming president he served four terms in the Kentucky State Legislature and briefly as House Speaker. He also served as director of the Division of Teacher Education in the Kentucky State Department of Education.

The collection consists of oral history interviews with prominent politicians from the State of Kentucky, former colleagues and employees, and life time friends. Included in the collection are speeches and sermons delivered by President Doran.
