Dr. Ralph E. Derrickson, son of Morehead State's Dr. Charles M. Derrickson, graduated with honors from Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. He also earned a bachelor's degree in animal science with honors from Morehead State in 1974. He is married to Patty Jones, and they have a son named Justin.
