Abstract
An interview with Marshall Banks by Steve Middleton on his experiences as a student and faculty member at Morehead State College in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Dr. Banks was the first African-American athlete to receive an athletic scholarship from Morehead State. He later returned to Morehead State to teach and coach both track and field and basketball.
