Abstract
Consider the following argument: P1. (PAP) A person is morally responsible for performing some action A only if he or she could have done otherwise than perform action A ("The Principle of Alternate Possibilities"). P2. A person could have done otherwise than perform some action A only if determinism is false. C. Therefore, a person is morally responsible for performing some action A only if determinism is false.
