Abstract

Over the past 25 years or more in higher education, I have seen many trends come and go. The world of education is filled with buzz words and ideas that define a given time period in educational theory and thought. As the profession progresses into the new millennium, one of the trends is the renewed emphasis on service-learning, civic engagement, and servant leadership.
