Abstract
An unrehearsed interview with Alfred Bailey for the Morehead State University Vintage Fiddlers Oral History Project. The interview was conducted by Marynell Young at Alfred Bailey's home, 435 Fountain Avenue, Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Tunes played include Tom and Jerry, Precious Memories -- a hymn, I Don't Love Nobody, I Don't Love Nobody (new version), Jack of Diamonds, Fire on the Mountain, Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine, Wild Horse, Golden Slippers, Bitter Creek, Shannon Waltz, Old Coon Dog, Good Night Waltz, Peek-a-boo Waltz, Nobody's Business What I Do, Roger's Reel, Tilden in the White House, and San Antonio Rose.
