Abstract
This episode of Caudill Conversation explores legislation proposed in Kentucky regarding the prohibition of Critical Race Theory in public schools. L. Joe Dunman, Assistant Professor of Legal Studies, explains legal challenges facing the proposed legislation in light of other historical examples of similar legislation, and Sara Peyton, instructor of Social Studies at Rowan County Senior High School, explains how the proposed legislation would disrupt legitimate aims in Social Studies education.
