Description
George T. Young served as an associate professor of government and public affairs, beginning his tenure at MSU in 1932. He enlisted in the old Army Air Force during World War II in 1942 and was part of a special force comprised of musicians and entertainers. After the war, he returned to MSU in 1945, where he advised over 70 student teachers throughout his career. Besides teaching, he directed the Kentucky historical tours, organizing weekend excursions across Kentucky for historical exploration. This Photograph of Young was taken in 1978.
