Abstract
Every once in awhile, the stars align and people and places converge to create a unique “teachable moment” that connects generations of musicians from the past, present, and future. Such was the case in mid-November 2008 when Virginia Harpham joined forces with her alma mater, Morehead State University, to host a residency featuring the vibrant young violinist Rachel Barton Pine.
