Comments

The Battle of Tippecanoe occurred on November 7, 1811, at the Tippecanoe River in Indiana. The battle was incited due to tensions caused by the Westward Expansion. Shawnee Chief Tecumseh made a confederation of various tribes to push back against the expansion. Gov. William H. Harrison led the American forces against Tecumseh and his brother, Tenskwatawa. Gov. Harrison and the American forces were victorious.
