About This Journal
is an adult education policy journal affording space for differing and challenging dialogue and discourse. Its mission is to provide an outlet for multifarious expressions of ideas, thought and knowledge beyond the traditional forms of research – it is a peer-reviewed publication that values and disseminates quality contributions from myriad, divergent and consilient approaches represented in, but not necessarily limited to, all manner of humanities and social sciences. The journal pursues this mission under the perception that adult education policy is a course of action, procedure, or the like (e.g., conceptional framework, set of values, perspective, perception, conception, or approach), specific to the field of adult education that promotes the well-being of the people it serves. Thus, the journal pursues this mission in the interest of improving the overall human condition by developing knowledge and information and illuminating actions and directions that inform adult education to effect equitable change to benefit individuals, communities and societies.
