Moonlight Schools Collection consists of oral histories, articles and research concerning the Moonlight Schools and the life of Cora Wilson Stewart. Included in the collection are correspondence regarding the opening of the Cora Wilson Stewart Moonlight School at Morehead State University, examples of student work from the Little Brushy School and twenty-four oral history audio recordings.

The Moonlight Schools of eastern Kentucky were first established in 1911 by Cora Wilson Stewart to promote literacy among adults in the Appalachian region of Kentucky. Moonlight Schools later served African American and Native American students in other regions of the United States.
